13 May 2025, London<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Trustly, the global leader in Pay by Bank, has partnered with Sabre Direct Pay, one of the world\u2019s largest travel technology companies, to enhance payment solutions for travel agencies across the UK and Europe.<\/p>\n

Headquartered in the US, Sabre provides global distribution system (GDS) technology to a network of travel agents, equipping them with cutting-edge tools to serve travellers worldwide.<\/p>\n

This partnership will allow Sabre to expand its payment solution offering, introducing direct bank payments as an additional payment method for travel providers. As part of the agreement, Sabre Direct Pay will also recommend Trustly\u2019s technology to its customers, helping to streamline transactions, improve cash flow, and offer an additional secure payment option.<\/p>\n

Sabre partnering with Trustly reflects a growing trend within the travel sector to embrace new payment innovations. Trustly recently announced that UK holidaymakers were increasingly opting for an alternative to cards in January, and spent 230% more year-on-year on holidays, using the secure account-to-account payment technology.<\/p>\n
