href=\"https:\/\/stg.com\/news\/stg-announces-acquisition-of-carrier-logistics-inc-to-pioneer-ai-agentic-platform-for-ltl-and-last-mile-carriers\/\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This integration will help develop an AI-native operating system for terminal-based motor carriers, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>CLI President\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ben-wiesen\">Ben Wiesen<\/a> said in the release that the acquisition will allow CLI\u2019s existing team to service customers through enhanced support capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the same time, STG\u2019s investment in our transportation and freight management technology will allow us to maintain our position as the market-leading transportation management system for LTL and deliver the next generation of AI-driven tools that our clients need to remain competitive in a high-velocity environment,\u201d Wiesen said.<\/p>\n<p>STG\u2019s vision for LTL software includes AI agents that can deliver autonomous dispatch and routing, human-in-the-loop automation in which complex variables are flagged for human oversight, and terminal optimization in which predictive modeling for dock workflows reduces dwell time and maximizes trailer utilization, according to the release.<\/p><div id=\"pymnt-3988973872\" class=\"pymnt-content pymnt-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-top: 50px;\"><p Strategy at STG, said in the release. \u201cOur goal is to provide carriers with an agentic platform that automates the mundane and optimizes the complex, keeping the human operator at the center of the most critical decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>STG said in a March\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20260304536876\/en\/STG-Raises-%241.3-Billion-for-Oversubscribed-STG-Allegro-II-in-Under-Four-Months\">press release<\/a>\u00a0that it closed an STG Allegro II fund that raised\u00a0$1.3 billion\u00a0to continue the firm\u2019s investment strategy in the lower mid-market that targets investments in enterprise software companies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stg.com\/who-we-are\/\">William Chisholm<\/a>, managing partner and chief investment officer at STG, said in the March release: \u201cWe believe STG\u2019s playbook is well positioned
