href=\"https:\/\/www.fisglobal.com\/about-us\/media-room\/press-release\/2026\/fis-launches-new-platform-giving-banks-control-over-digital-money\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The digital money Lyriq can handle includes tokenized deposits and digital currencies, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>To meet bank and regulatory standards, it has compliance, identity\u00a0verification\u00a0and audit controls embedded into the platform itself.<\/p>\n<p>The platform works with existing core banking systems from any technology provider, supports round-the-clock settlement and delivers transactions that either complete fully or fail cleanly, with no partial failures, per the release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLyriq is production-ready infrastructure that, combined with our deep expertise integrating bank technology, puts banks in control of money in motion,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fisglobal.com\/about-us\/leadership\/jim-johnson\">Jim Johnson<\/a>, co-president of banking solutions at FIS, said in the release. \u201cLyriq is a platform proven with financial institutions \u2014 one that meets banks and regulators where they are.\u201d<\/p><div id=\"pymnt-862808180\" class=\"pymnt-content assets portfolio that also includes a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.circle.com\/\">Circle<\/a>\u00a0partnership that integrated stablecoin payments via the\u00a0company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fisglobal.com\/products\/money-movement-hub\">Money Movement Hub<\/a>\u00a0for 24\/7 cross-border settlement, and an FIS Digital Liquidity Gateway that enables loan tokenization for securitization, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>FIS and Circle announced their partnership in July, saying their collaboration would help U.S. financial institutions transact in Circle\u2019s USDC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/cryptocurrency\/2025\/fis-and-circle-to-help-financial-institutions-use-usdc-stablecoin\/\">stablecoin<\/a>\u00a0within a regulated and compliant framework and enable their customers to make domestic and cross-border payments with that stablecoin.<\/p>\n<p>FIS debuted its Money Movement Hub in May, describing it as a tool that helps financial institutions link to major <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/news\/faster-payments\/2025\/fis-debuts-money-movement-hub-ease-payment-friction\/\">payment networks<\/a>\u2014including instant payment services, wire and ACH\u2014and process payments within one solution via a single API.<\/p>\n<p>FIS executives said during a February earnings call that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/earnings\/2026\/fis-earnings-reflect-banks-expanding-appetite-for-digital-infrastructure-and-ai\/\">financial institutions<\/a>\u00a0continue to modernize core operations, deepen investments in payments and issuing, and seek greater value from their data.<\/p>\n<p>During the fourth quarter, the company\u2019s Banking Solutions business once again served as
