href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/nick-van-eck-17036212a?utm_source=share&amp;utm_campaign=share_via&amp;utm_content=profile&amp;utm_medium=ios_app\">Nick van Eck<\/a> wrote in a Friday (April 24) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agora.finance\/blog\/occ-national-trust-bank-charter?utm_source=agora.finance&amp;utm_medium=company-page\">blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agora aims to secure the bank charter to open the door to the U.S. market under a unified federal framework now that its stablecoin issuance business is nearly two years old and its AUSD stablecoin has done tens of billions in transfer volume and served a variety of applications and use cases, according to the post.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company designed AUSD to provide a stablecoin that businesses could use to move money across borders, manage payroll and handle payments, the post said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, Agora is operating in Bermuda with a full license.
