release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With the new capital, Fun plans to continue investing in engineering, expand into the Asia-Pacific region with a new office in Singapore, and make acquisitions to deepen its infrastructure stack, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>Fun Founder and CEO\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/alexkalilfine\">Alex Fine<\/a>\u00a0said in the release that the company is building a system for use behind financial markets that moves money instantly, globally and without friction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinancial markets have driven global prosperity for decades, but the systems behind them have not kept pace,\u201d Fine said.<\/p>\n<p>Polymarket Vice President of Engineering\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uk.linkedin.com\/in\/joshhstevens\">Josh Stevens<\/a>\u00a0said in the release that Fun builds around real user behavior, catches edge cases that others miss, and is meticulous about every detail.<\/p><div id=\"pymnt-3774064865\" class=\"pymnt-content href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/markets\/2026\/bernstein-predicts-1-trillion-in-prediction-market-volume-by-2030\/\">prediction market<\/a>\u00a0platform Kalshi had seen combined year-to-date volumes of\u00a0$60 billion.
